Long only, investing in a diversified portfolio of investment funds targetting global opportunites, for a major Asian Life Assurance company.
Quarterly liquidity, Cayman-based open-ended fund launched in 1998, listed on the Cayman Islands Stock Exchange in 1999, closed in 2003.


Shimoda Russia Renaissance fund, Cayman
The Shimoda Russia Renaissance Fund was a tax-exempt Cayman-based off-shore fund, launched in 1997, and run from Emerging Europe. The Fund's investment objective was to achieve above-average capital appreciation by investing in a diversified portfolio of investment funds. i.e. a "Fund of funds", targetting the Russian Federation ("Russia") and other former Soviet Union republics or Newly Independent States ("NIS").
Closed in 2002.
